Paruyr Hayrikyan: Nation’s normal way of living is in free homeland

YEREVAN, AUGUST 23, ARMENPRESS: Nation's normal way of living is in free homeland, Chairman of "National Self-Determination Union" Party Paruyr Hayrikyan said today at a meeting with journalists, referring to 21st anniversary of Independence Declaration. According to him, it is the main symbol of independence, which is one of the main achievements of Armenian people.

"Independence had other significance for Armenian people as well: an independent homeland was necessary for supporting Artsakh," the leader of "National Self-Determination Union" Party noted. According to him, Armenia is gradually progressing. Mr. Hayrikyan said that the Independence Declaration is principally the part of the Armenian Constitution.
