Kiro Manoyan: We cannot expect positive progress in NK issue due to Azerbaijani position

We cannot expect a positive progress in the issue of Karabakh conflict settlement due to the Azerbaijani position, head of ARF Armenian Cause and Political Affairs Office Kiro Manoyan said today at a meeting with journalists, adding that Azerbaijani negative position is the main obstacle of efficiency of the negotiation process.

"A progress will be registered in NK issue by the time Azerbaijan agrees to see the NKR out of its composition," Kiro Manoyan stressed, adding that the Russian President is interested in positive progress of NK issue. According to him, if no progress is registered in the issue by the end of the year, in future, conditioned by elections in Russia, the process will definitely freeze.

Refereeing to war possibility on the way of NK settlement, Kiro Manoyan noted that Azerbaijan will start war by the time it is sure of its victory. "Armenia must actively present the essence of NK conflict to international community, and the latter should realize that Azerbaijani war-striving steps can bring to unpredictable results," the head of ARF Armenian Cause and Political Affairs Office stressed.
