YEREVAN, JULY 28, ARMENPRESS:
The current round of coalition-ANC dialogue is positive and it is in an important harbor, member of the Republican Party of Armenia faction Gagik Minasyan said speaking to reporters today. He said it is necessary to create corresponding conditions to address the existing potential not for confrontation but to a constructive cooperation.
"We have tried to create a platform together with our ANC partners. It is not difficult in reality. There is no such precedent in any of the post-soviet countries and it gave the positive results", Minasyan said.
Political coalition-ANC dialogue includes the issue on conduction of snap elections. He noted that during the dialogue they will discuss the proposal of the ANC on conduction of the snap elections, their grounding, assessments and expectations. According to him, these discussions may bring to a quite interesting solution.
Speaking about the coming August 4 meeting, Minasyan said they will discuss the issue of working regulation, that is to say how the two issues included in the agenda must be discussed. "I do not exclude that the discussion of the issue and achievement of consent over it will contribute to the further success of the process", the parliamentarian said.
As to the timeframe of the dialogue, Minasyan said it is not correct to state timeframes in the beginning of the process, as an opinion is being created as if the time issue is the priority. In response to the question of reporters which will be the positive outcome of the process, Minasyan said the positive outcome will be the common conclusion of the parties.
