Interview of the Azerbaijani deputy foreign minister - logical continuation of the strive of the Azerbaijani authorities to get rid of the Madrid Principles

The recent interview of the Azerbaijani deputy foreign minister Araz Azimov to "Echo Moskvi" radio station was the logical continuation of the strive of the Azerbaijani authorities to get rid of the Madrid Principles, member of the Republican party's faction Hovhannes Sahakyan said commenting on the statements of Azimov made during the interview.

He said it is remarkable that the statements of Azimov on the "maximum concessions" of Azerbaijan, deployment of the Russian military base in the territory of Armenia as a possible threat for Azerbaijan, dissatisfaction with the mediation of Russia comes forth in the background of intensive efforts of Russia toward registering progress, affirmation of support to the efforts of Russia and the support of the other co-chairs, which shows the real wishes of Azerbaijan.

"In this respect the story of the 13-year old girl is viewed as a cheap provocation referring to which even the Foreign minister of Russia after the weeping of Azimov stated that it is possible to give assessments only after corresponding examination and verdict of the court, which means shut up and stop doing stupid things. As to the tragedy with the small girl, if it is a reality, I think it is the tragedy that often happens in conflicting zones. The children were playing and found a grenade or a mine, brought it to the house and it exploded. Claiming that the bomb was placed inside a toy, which appeared there passing few kilometers of water, without touching anything and keeping its features and exploded only inside the house is at least stupidity, which though is natural to the Azerbaijani propaganda", Hovhannes Sahakyan said.
