No Any Armenian State Official on Owners List of “Nairit”

YEREVAN, JULY 13, ARMENPRESS:

There is no any Armenian state official on the list of owners of "Nairit", RA Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Armen Movsisyan said today at a news conference summarizing the semiannual results.

"It is rumored that the owners of "Nairit" are representatives of the authorities. I officially state that there is no Armenian state official on the list of owners of "Nairit". RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan is not on the list as well," he said. Armen Movsisyan also touched upon the rumors, according to which the prime minister's brother is involved in Shanxi-Nairit's management and Minister Armen Movsisyan owns 80% of the stocks of one of the biggest Ukrainian mining-metallurgical company. "Such rumors do not correspond to the reality," the minister said.

As to the current processes connected with Nairit, the minister said a new program has been developed after some long discussions. He says the program will give an opportunity to launch the operation of Nairit again. The minister added that now they tend to find a manager for implementing the program.
