Expert: NK and Azerbaijan must discuss issues between them on their own

YEREVAN, JULY 13, ARMENPRESS:

The issue of the status of Nagorno Karabakh relates to the human rights sphere and the OSCE states have a collective commitment regarding the respect of these rights, legal consultant to the Azerbaijani-Armenian Refugee Assembly Andreas Ghukasyan told a news conference today, adding that the status of Nagorno Karabakh may be recognized without the consent of Azerbaijan.

In his opinion Armenia and Azerbaijan must conduct direct talks to discuss the issues relating to them and Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan must talk over the issues relating to them.

The expert said Nagorno Karabakh must be represented on its own.
