Hovhannes Sahakyan says dialogue with ANC is a possibility of discussions and not negotiations

The authorities-ANC dialogue must be of institutional nature and not be of accidental nature or seem like mutually beneficial deal, member of the Heritage party's faction Karine Hakobyan said Tuesday, adding that the ANC does not present the whole extra parliamentary opposition.

In response to this claim, representative of the Republican Party of Armenia faction Hovhannes Sahakyan pointed out that the ANC has displayed its political wish and the President of the Republic Serzh Sargsyan mentioned in his speech not the ANC but the "extra parliamentary opposition". "It proves that the Republican party has not chosen the congress as an exclusive ambassador for extra parliamentary and parliamentary opposition. All those forces who will have big potential to have constructive negotiations with the authorities will be invited at the table of dialogue", he said.

Referring to the possibility of early elections, Karine Hakobyan said the dialogue is like acquiring preliminary arrangement. Rejecting this claim, Sahakyan excluded the preliminary arrangements and ensuring of privileges for congress at the parliamentary elections.
