Parliamentarian believes “Forbes” rating not reliable

YEREVAN, JULY 8, ARMENPRESS:

A new culture is being formed in Armenia which may be testified with the existence of political dialogue, member of Armenian Republican Party's faction Hamlet Harutyunyan said at a news conference today, considering it natural that during the dialogue the Armenian National Congress presents its demands and the authorities display their attitude and forward demands too.

Representative of the Armenian National Congress Gurgen Yeghiazaryan said the reason of the majority of the problems of the country is the non-regulated capitalistic relations that is the reason why Armenia received such an assessment by "Forbes".

"No one, starting from the president denies that we have serious economic issues and wish that our people live in welfare and steps are being undertaken in that direction", Harutyunyan said, noting that "Forbes" and such like organizations display biased attitude toward different countries. "These assessments are not reliable", the parliamentarian said.
