Nikolai Bordyuzha Says Talks on NK Issue That Tend to be Positive Go on

YEREVAN, JULY 6, ARMENPRESS:

Armenia is an ally of Russia with all the consequences stemming from this, CSTO Secretary General Nikolai Bordyuzha said today at a briefing after the 10th session of the CSTO Coordinating Council for Fight against Drugs Smuggling.

As to the CSTO's possible response in case Azerbaijan realizes its warlike threats, Nikolai Bordyuzha restated that Armenia is Russia's ally. "Taking into account the delicacy of the issue I consider additional commentaries ineffective," Nikolai Bordyuzha said.

The CSTO secretary general reminded that serious, complicated talks on the NK issue that tend to be positive go on, so it is not competent to make open statements. President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev stated earlier that Armenia is one of the members of the CSTO, and "Russia treats its obligations towards allies seriously".
