New criminal executive establishment to be built in Armavir

YEREVAN, JULY 5, ARMENPRESS:

New and contemporary criminal executive establishment will be built in Armavir, Justice Minister Hrayr Tovmasyan said at a news conference today, adding that the government allocated one billion AMD with that aim. Today this territory serves as a hospital and will be reconstructed into a criminal executive establishment.

"The construction of the criminal executive establishment in Armavir will mean that the current one as well as the "Vardashen", "Erebuni", "Hospital of Convicts" criminal executive establishments will be closed. We will have one big criminal executive establishment which will fit 3000-3500 convicts", Tovmasyan said, reminding that criminal executive establishments of Artik, Vanadzor and Hrazdan have been newly built. The minister said the coming issue is the construction of criminal executive establishment in Goris. Years later a new criminal executive establishment will be built in Yerevan.
