Armenian and Azerbaijani Football Teams Not to be in Same Subgroups

YEREVAN, JUNE 28, ARMENPRESS: The national football teams of Armenia and Azerbaijan will not be in the same groups of international championships.

An official from the Football Federation of Armenia told Armenpress that this decision of not involving the football teams of conflict parties in the same group was made by UEFA. It applied to FIFA with a request to adopt a corresponding decision as well.
