Vladimir Zakharov: “Azerbaijan’s Military Rhetoric Must be stopped”

It was decided before the Kazan meeting of the Armenian, Azerbaijani and Russian presidents that some documents must be signed; however this all was deceptive, according to Vladimir Zakharov, head of the Moscow Institute of Political and Social Studies in the Black Sea and Caspian Region.

He said today at the Yerevan-Moscow bridge on "The results of the Trilateral Meeting on Issues of Resolution to the Karabakhi Conflict" that the Azerbaijani president presented a proposal on making new amendments to the basic principles. He says such a serious statement has not been made before the meeting. According to Vladimir Zakharov, many players, which tend to intervene in the settlement of the NK conflict, have appeared, however this will hinder the settlement.

Vladimir Zakharov says the president of Russia stated that he will not partake in the next meetings in case the parties do not sign a certain agreement. "Speaking on the security of the Nagorno Karabakh without its participation is impossible," he said. According to the speaker, Azerbaijan's military rhetoric must be stopped.
