Deputy Culture Minister says “Junior Eurovision 2011” international song contest to be conducted on highest level

The preparation works for the "Junior Eurovision 2011" international song contest are in process. Deputy Culture Minister Artur Poghosyan said with the order of the President Serzh Sargsyan "Eurovision Organizational Committee" has been set up comprising of representatives of president's staff, stakeholder ministries. The first sitting of the organizational committee has already taken place.
"In Armenia the "Junior Eurovision" song contest will be organized on the highest level. Though it is considered the project of the Public television it has such a rating that the state's interference is necessary", Poghosyan said. According to him, all the possible means will be used for having the best show.
The "Junior Eurovision 2011" will take place in Karen Demirthcyan sport and concert complex.
To remind, last year in Minsk Vladimir Arzumanyan with "Mama" song won in the contest with 120 points.
