Henry Reno: Deauville statement deprived of any dual meanings

YEREVAN, MAY 30, ARMENPRESS:

The Deauville statement of the leaders of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairing countries was quite clear and deprived of any dual meanings, Ambassador of France to Armenia Henry Reno said at a news conference today, adding that the parties are urged to restrain from usage of force. "I am convinced that the parties understood the importance of the message and this perception will be reflected at the possible meeting of presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan in Kazan", the ambassador pointed out.

He expressed hope that the conflict settlement agreement will soon be reached. "I expect from the parties to follow the urge of the statement effectively. I hope the tension will go down and cooperation will come to replace the tension between the parties", the French ambassador stressed.
