Arsen Ghazaryan: The revelation from VAT to reinforce rural economies

The revealing of imports of agricultural engineering, fertilizers, seeds, pesticides from VAT is a serious impetus for the development of the sphere. Speaking to Armenpress the director of the Armenian Development Agency Robert Harutyunyan said the revelation from VAT was a quite important decision and positive responses have already been received.

"It is the issue we have many times voiced. This decision may promote the development of process of making additional investments in the sphere of agriculture as well as promote the business", Robert Harutyunyan said.

Chairman of the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen Arsen Ghazaryan highlighted the decision of the Armenian government on revealing from VAT and noted that it will essentially promote the import of new engineering and will have certain impact on the agricultural products.

"The most important is that it will promote the reinforcement of rural economies", Ghazaryan said.
