Aram Karapetyan: Amnesty is a welcoming fact

YEREVAN, MAY 27, ARMENPRESS:

The amnesty may be considered an initiative promoting the settlement of the issues the country is facing, member of the Republican party's faction Rafik Petrosyan said. "One of the reasons of amnesty is the step of the opposition to establish dialogue and promote the national reconciliation but not the main", the parliamentarian said, adding that there is a rational piece in what the opposition says.

In response to the question about the possibility of extraordinary parliamentary elections, Petrosyan said there are no grounds for it, everything passes normally.

Leader of the "New Times" party Aram Karapetyan said the amnesty is always welcomed. He said it is an expedient step in the current political situation in the country.
