Increase of the number of false alarms cannot weaken soberness of the police

The periodical calls about bombs create unhealthy atmosphere among the public, believes psychologist Karine Nalchajyan. She said the basis of these false calls has always been the wish to harm someone. "It may be directed against a concrete person or establishment, system. The aggressive approach here is obvious", she said.

In her opinion, the calls about bomb, from psychological viewpoint, have their impact on the society. They create certain atmosphere of alarm. "Even if it is found out that the call was false, an element of doubt may remain among people. In such cases atmosphere of distrust is being created among people which results in unhealthy situation", Nalchajyan said.

According to her, it is not excluded that the existence of fake calls is directed toward loosing the soberness of law enforcers.

Press service of the police reported that the police officers are quickly and operatively responding to every call. The increase of the number of false alarms cannot loosen their soberness, the police official said.
