Resources imported to the agricultural sphere to be free from the VAT

YEREVAN, MAY 20, ARMENPRESS:

The resources being imported to the agricultural sphere – agricultural engineering, seeds, fertilizers, pesticides will hence be free form the value added tax. Minister Sergo Karapetyan said at the meeting with reporters after the cabinet sitting that this decision will promote the availability of acquirement of the mentioned resources, expansion of their import and usage volume. He said it will bring to the development of the sphere, decrease of prices for agricultural products.

The minister said this decision will also promote the upgrading of agricultural engineering.
