Karen Avagyan says opposition undertakes constructive steps

YEREVAN, MAY 5, ARMENPRESS:

The opposition is undertaking constructive steps that cannot be ignored by the authorities, member of the Armenian Republican party, head of the party's youth organization Karen Avagyan said at a news conference today, pointing out that it does not mean though that the authorities will agree to extraordinary elections.

According to the parliamentarian, today we witness a process – dialogue – so much spoken about. "ANC figures though ascribe to them many actions, naming it implementation of demands but it is the result of the policy adopted by the authorities", Avagyan stressed, adding that parties who are left out of attention envy the process.

The implementation of civilized processes in the opposition field are new phenomena he said, bringing as example the recent rallies conducted in the frames of law.
