YEREVAN, APRIL 28, ARMENPRESS:

The reason the ANC changed its stance thoroughly is that ANC realized that the policy it had adopted was leading to a deadlock, says Ruben Hakobyan, vice chairman of "Heritage" party department.

Speaking on the Armenian National Congress's posture of launching a dialogue with the authorities Ruben Hakobyan said today at a meeting with journalists that this step is welcome. He says the mediation of European establishments is noteworthy in this matter.

"Neither in 1991, nor now Levon Ter-Petrosyan has a radical program," according to Paruyr Hayrikyan, leader of the National Self-Determination Union party. He stated that he has not noticed anything new in any program by the ANC.
