“Status quo” to be preserved for long time

The current "status quo" of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict will be preserved for a long time, head of political sciences and philosophy chair of the St. Petersburg State University Valery Achkasov said. According to him, the current situation in the Karabakh conflict settlement process is in phase when it is difficult to find settlement to the issue.

"Increasing its financial flows, Azerbaijan will try from time to time make the situation on the border tensed, but I do not consider the war will resume", he said, adding that the current "frozen" situation of the process will remain for a long time.
