“Public Work for Payment” program to kick off in Kapan in May

KAPAN, APRIL 22, ARMENPRESS: The “Public Work for Payment” state program will kick off in Kapan from May. The program has been a little late because of rainy weather, Avetik Hambardzumyan, head of Kapan’s municipality’s programs and foreign ties department, told Armenpress. He said the employment assistance provincial commission has already approved 10 sub-programs relating to streets, roads renovation and sanitary cleaning. Eight million drams will be allocated for these ten sub-programs. Another sub-programs amounting to 5 million drams will be carried out in two months.
“Public Work for Payment” program will involve more than 100 job seekers and unemployed who applied to the Kapan’s employment provincial center.
