28 Million AMD to New Library of Jermuk

JERMUK, APRIL 8, ARMENPRESS: A new high-quality library, equipped with up-to-date capacity, will be put into operation in Jermuk till the end of the year.

“The works for preparation of design and pre-calculation documents are already over. We are waiting for the Government’s decision on purchase from one person. Just after this, within 5 days we will start the works,” Azat Hovsepyan, head of the department of urban development of Vayots Dzor Governor’s Office staff, reported Armenpress.

He said 28 million AMD from the RA state budget is intended to be provided for finishing the construction works successfully. The financial means for furnishing and acquiring new and demanded literature will be provided from the Jermuk community’s local budget.

“We must have skillful librarians, who will “link” the readers with books,” says Mayor of Jermuk Vardan Hovhannisyan.
