IFAD to launch new program in Syunik

KAPAN, APRIL 5, ARMENPRESS: The International Foundation of Agricultural Development (IFAD) is launching a new program on creation of rural capacities. The program consists of 2 main elements – support to the fruit, walnut production and restoration of rural infrastructures. The second element includes 20 communities of the Armenian province of Syunik.

Within the framework of the program communities will be connected to the gas network, water supply systems will be renovated, inter-village roads will be reconstructed. The program will launch from June of the running year, its duration is 14 years.
