61 million to Syunik for implementation of public work for payment

KAPAN, MARCH 31, ARMENPRESS: For implementation of “Public Works for Payment” governmental program 61 million Drams will be allocated this year to Syunik from the state budget.

On the decision of the province commission on employment support, the money has been delivered according to regions – 21 million Drams to Kapan, 20 million Drams to Goris, 14 million Drams to Sisian, and 6 million Drams to Meghri.

Director of Kapan Employment Center Ruben Poghosyan told Armenpress that the commission has already confirmed 15 sub-programs, the 10 of which in Goris, and the 5 in Kapan. The program will launch in the province from April.

One hundred and one sub-programs were implemented in Syunik last year by this program of the government, the 45 of which in urban and the 56 in rural communities. Nine hundred and sixty one unemployed people and job seeking citizens have been provided with temporary working places thanks to the mentioned sub-programs.
