YEREVAN, JANUARY 8, ARMENPRESS: One hundred eighty people have seen in this New Year in the Writers Creativity House in Tsaghkadzor. Executive Director of the Writers Creativity House Movses Manukyan told Armenpress that traditional festive events were organized for them, which started in the evening of December 31 and lasted till January 6.
Movses Manukyan said that no changes have taken place in the price policy of the Creativity House despite the rise of prices of the recent period. Nearly 200 writers have a rest annually in Writers Creativity House in Tsaghkadzor.
According to the executive director, the number of those having rest in it decreases year by year, and it is conditioned by a number of circumstances. First, the crisis had a negative influence and then - the construction of new hotels in Tsaghkadzor. Besides that, many people prefer having their rest abroad. Mr. Manukyan said that 10 years ago the Writers Creativity House in Tsaghkadzor was among the best ones. “The situation is changing year by year.
People come to rest in Tsaghkadzor with expectation of enjoying the nature, but today there is a lack of wood areas, majority of them have been privatized. Consequently, people do not wish to have a rest in Tsaghkadzor because of a lack of green areas,” Mr. Manukyan said.
