Number of natural disasters grown in Syunik

KAPAN, DECEMBER 13, ARMENPRESS: As of December 1 of the running year, 18 cases of natural emergency situations have been registered in Syunik, while last year there were 14 cases. The volumes of natural disasters have grown compared with the last year as well. According to the data of the Syunik rescue department, some rivers have overflowed causing harm of 7, 31 million AMD to fields. Strong winds caused even larger harms – 39, 967 million AMD, as a result of which 33 settlements suffered. A strong hail, many cases of landslides, snowstorms have been registered as well, as a result of which roads have been closed.
