MEGHRI, NOVEMBER 24, ARMENPPRESS: A snake crawled into the only kinder-garten of Meghri town, where 160 children are attending. The employees had to take the children from the first floor to the second one. They did not succeed to make the snake harmless as it crawled under the floor. Mayor of Meghri Sergey Hayrapetyan told Armenpress that the kinder-garten works normally after the incident. “Meghri is a southern zone, snakes have always been and will always be here and during this season they do not harm people. The second floor is safe for children, in such weather snakes cannot crawl up and during the hot summer months children do not attend the kinder-garten.”
The kinder-garten needs repair. Only for renovation of the floor 15 million AMD will be needed but the community budget does not have that sum.
Currently the municipality works toward finding sponsors. By the way, the yesterday’s case was not a surprise for the residents of Meghri, they say they have already got used to snakes and the snakes have got used to them.
