Student scientific conference dedicated to Tavush issues held in Ijevan branch of Yerevan State University

IJEVAN, OCTOBER 8, ARMENPRESS: Student scientific conference on the theme of “The Up-to-date Issues and Prospects of Tavush Province” was conducted November 6 in Ijevan branch of Yerevan State University. It was organized by the student scientific company of Ijevan branch of Yerevan State University. Students and aspirants of the YSU came forth with reports.
Reports dedicated to psychological and educational-cultural issues were presented in the first part of the scientific conference. Student of the Journalistic Faculty of Yerevan State University Davit Sargsyan presented how the republican mass media covered the ensuring of the military security of the cross-border settlements of Tavush province. Issues on defense of Tavush were presented by student of YSU Faculty of Economics Ani Khanaghyan. Gor Harutyunyan’s report on “Blue-Eyed Youth from Achajur” was dedicated to the life and activity of academician, literary critic Hrant Tamrazyan.
The nature protection and economic issues of Tavush province were presented in the second part of the scientific conference. Student of YSU Geography and Geology Faculty analyzed the geo-ecology of the province.
During the scientific conference lecturers and scientific employees came forth with their comments. Governor of Tavush Armen Ghularyan called the students to get closer acquainted with the province in order to be better competent on the issues. He advised to organize visits to historical-architectural monuments of Tavush to carry out studies.
