Armenian Deputy Prime Minister gets acquainted with restoration works of Marmarik reservoir

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 5, ARMENPRESS: Armenian Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Territorial Administration Armen Gevorgyan visited today Kotayk province, got acquainted with restoration works of Marmarik reservoir.

Press service of the Ministry told Armenpress that the restoration works of Marmarik reservoir kicked off in 2006 within the framework of the WB program on security of reservoirs. The reservoir will have capacity of storing water of 24 million square meters, which will enable to irrigate nearly 1200 hectares territory of Kotayk province and Ararat Valley.

The process of the works was presented to the Deputy Prime Minister. Armen Gevorgyan attached importance to implementation of the works with high-quality and with preservation of reservoir construction technologies.
