ARTASHAT, NOVEMBER 2, ARMENPRESS: “Public Works for Payment” program was implemented in 5 communities of Artashat region in the 3rd quarter of 2010, in which 99 job seekers registered in Artashat state employment service of “State Employment Service” agency were involved.
Director of the mentioned center Vachik Avetisyan told Armenpress that 3 job seekers were involved in the 3rd quarter in the program of “Salary Compensation to Employer”. They were registered in the employment service more than 3 years.
Various professional classes are currently being implemented by state education programs, in each of which 5 job seekers registered in the center are involved. Educational classes are conducted by the program of the United Nations as well.
Mr. Avetisyan said that new working places have opened in the period of summer for reception of agricultural products. Seventy-one people were involved in the works, who got job in Artashat Cannery, in the wine and cognac factories of Shuhumyan and Kaghtsrashen, in “Artashat-Vinkom” of Mkhchyan, Avshar Wine Factory. Food and trade points have opened in Artashat in the mentioned months, in which 20 people worked.
Three hundred three people have received unemployment allowance in 2010 by the programs of the center in the amount of 1 million 547 thousand 889 AMD.
