YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 1, ARMENPRESS: The Association of Young Women of Armenia is collecting books for providing them to the borderline villages of Stepanavan region. Chairwoman of the Association Lilit Asatryan told Armenpress that the pupils of the villages asked to enrich their libraries themselves. The Association received the request while carrying out pupils’ council development programs.
The head of the Association said the villages, being on borderline, seem to be isolated, the Internet is not always available there and sometimes even there is no opportunity to watch television. Book is the most available means for them to get information and knowledge.
The Association has already received about 70 books and text-books.
