Glendale delegation in Kapan

KAPAN, OCTOBER 19, ARMENPRESS: Glendale delegation has paid a three-day working visit to Kapan within the frameworks of cooperation between Glendale-Kapan sister towns. According to Artin Manukyan, chairman of the Sister City Association, the goal of the visit is to get acquainted with the implemented works on place, as well as the joint discussion of the programs to be implemented in near future within the cooperation.

At the meeting with Kapan Mayor Arthur Atayan, Artin Manukyan again referred to repair issue of Kapan hospital. Mr. Atayan said that according to an agreement with the Armenian healthcare Ministry, that issue will find solution in near future. During the meeting Artin Manukyan introduced the new president of the Sister City Association – Khachik Khalatyan, after which handed the official invitation of Glendale Mayor Ara Najaryan to Atayan, which, according to him, will contribute to strengthening of cooperation between the two countries.

The mayor was also handed a book presenting the history of Glendale with signature of Ara Najaryan in the Armenian language. Artin Manukyan stressed that he notices positive changes in Kapan after his previous visit. In the upcoming months the Glendale delegation will visit the delivery ward of Kapan hospital, will be in the pre-educational establishments of the town, and will get acquainted wit the works carried out with the support of the Glendale Armenians.
