“Hotel Methuselah” performance of “Imitating the Dog” theatrical group to be staged within the framework of “HayFest”

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 7, ARMENPRESS: “Imitating the Dog” theatrical group, arrived from the Great Britain, will stage “Hotel Methluselah” performance October 8 and 9 in the Theater of the Junior Spectator within the framework of “Hayfest” 8th international theatrical festival. Chairman of the festival Arthur Ghukasyan told today journalists that the performance is a result of cooperation with Armenia office of the British Council. “It is a very interesting and experimental performance,” he said.

Program coordinator of Armenia office of the British Council Narek Tovmasyan noted that he is very glad that cooperation with “Hayfest” theatrical festival goes on.

Actor of “Imitating the Dog” theatrical group Morven Macbeth noted they are very happy to be in Armenia. “It is truly a great honor for us to participate in this festival, which enjoys high reputation both in Armenia and in a number of European countries,” he noted.

Actor of the theatrical group Ann Wilson noted that “Hotel Methuselah” performance combines the contemporary and traditional approaches of theatrical art, reveals the influence of non-stop clashes of the past and reality on the fate of an individual.

“This is a very modern, courageous and visual performance, which includes a story, emotions and humor,” Ann Wilson said.
