GYUMRI, OCTOBER 7, ARMENPRESS: “Shirak Expo 2010” kicked off today in Gyumri. At the event present were mayor of Gyumri, representatives of provincial authorities, cARE and CARD international organizations.
This year the initiator “Shirak Competitiveness Center” conducts the event in collaboration with cARE international organization within the framework of the poverty reduction at the remote areas of Georgia and Armenia and formation of trust through the strengthening of civil society (STAGE II) program.
The annual exhibition is being conducted for already the seventh time. This time too agricultural food cultivating and investment companies, food and textile industrial enterprises, farmer unions were presented at the exhibition.
Businessmen from other provinces are also invited to partake at the event. For the first time businessmen from Georgia presented their products to Gyumri residents.
