Ecological and cultural initiatives in Vanadzor

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 1, ARMENPRESS: Fund for Preservation of Wild Nature and Cultural Merits will come forth October 2 in Vanadzor with a number of initiatives. An official from the fund told Armenpress that “Green Bus” ensured with unique literature and films about ecology, illustrated by children, will park at the central square of the town. It has toured in different provinces the whole summer, conveying knowledge on nature protection.

In Vanadzor Square the children will paint on easels on the themes of a contest announced within the framework of the upcoming All-Armenian Painting Day – “My Dream Zoological Park”, “My Native Nature”, “SOS”. The paintings of Vanadzor children will take part in the contest and will be placed in the website of the Painting Day.

Simultaneously, one more event will be conducted in Vanadzor, the pupils of School N 10 will hand the paper waste and the plastic bottles they have gathered to the Fund for Preservation of Wild Nature and Cultural Merits to get processed paper in future and to participate in the green-covering program of their town.

The holiday of the town will also be celebrated tomorrow in Vandzor.
