Gyumri cleaned with the support of UN Public Information Department

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 15, ARMENPRESS: Over a hundred schoolchildren of Gyumri, as well as musicians, activists of civil society and citizens partook today in cleaning of the town. UN Armenia office informed Armenpress that the initiative is implemented within the frameworks of “Stand up and Take Action” global campaign of the United Nations, which aims to mobilize the public to join the efforts with authorities and realize the development goals of the millennium. The event has been organized by Shirak Center for Organization of Youth Events of the Armenian Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs with the support of the mayor, local authorities, UN public information department in collaboration with the Armenian Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs.
