YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 9, ARMENPRESS: ‘I would like to stress the EU continues support of the activities of the OSCE Minsk group Co-Chairs and to reiterate the EU commitment to support for a peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict,’ European Union Special Representative Peter Semneby said in response to the recent press reports, which were selectively quoted and misrepresented his statements during the visit to Azerbaijan.

The report, provided to Armenpress by the office of the EU Special Representative, mentions that the settlement of the NK issue should be based upon the Helsinki principles of non-use of force or the threat of force, territorial integrity, and the equal rights and self-determination of peoples.
