YEREVAN, AUGUST 19, ARMENPRESS: Multi-content events will be conducted in Ijevan till August 21 – exhibitions, practical trainings, lecture-discussions, etc. Separate presentations, artist programs, concerts will be organized within the frameworks of the summer festival of community art entitled “Dating on Borders”. This festival is drafted and implemented by the students of “Drafting and Covering of Art” educational program of the Association of Art Critics.
“The goal of the festival is to promote activation of cultural life in Ijevan, which has potential of growing into tourism center and is a student town,” Chairman of the Association of Art Critics, art critic Nazaret Karoyan said. According to him, through this initiative an attempt is made to make the art available to the population and to involve the latter in the art. Representatives from around 20 countries partook in the festival – from Germany, Austria, Poland, Spain, Turkey, Canada, USA, France.
The organizer of the summer festival of community art is a group of lecturers and students of the Association of Art Critics. It is conducted under the patronage of Tavush governor office with the support of YSU Ijevan branch, Ijevan Tourism and Business Information Center, etc.
