Road reconstruction works in process in Ararat

ARTASHAT, JULY 9, ARMENPRESS: The renovation of the roads of provincial significance is in process in the Armenian province of Ararat. Works for preservation of roads for the 2010 winter are also ongoing. With that aim 35 million 619 000 AMD have been released from the state budget – 26 million 581 are intended for winter preservation and exploitation of roads and 9 million 037 are being currently used for the preservation of roads and reconstruction of pits.

Currently the works are in process in Upper Artashat-Hnaberd-Getazat, Upper Artashat-Aygepat 4,3 km sector. In Qakhtsrashen-Norashen sector pit reconstruction works are being carried out.

Head of the Ararat governor’s office transport and road construction department Arayik Poghosyan told Armenpress that immediately after May rains reconstruction of different road sectors launched.
