Participants of the 5th all-Armenian conference of writers visit Gyumri

GYUMRI, JUNE 30, ARMENPRESS: The participants of the 5th all-Armenian conference of writers were today in Gyumri. At first the guests visited Avetik Isahakyan House-Museum, and later they paid a visit to the house-museum of the next distinguished writer from Gyumri – Hovhannes Shiraz.

For many of the guests the first visit to Gyumri was not only of familiarizing nature, but also of spiritual value.

“This was a spiritual experience for me. I “was repaired” as a writer. What I saw was news for me. We have read and written a lot of things, but without having a tangible tie. This is a vital tie for me, for which I am very happy,” Vanel Adamyan, arrived from London, told Armenpress.

In Gyumri Academy of Fine Arts the guests partook in an event dedicated to the 95th anniversary of Hovhannes Shiraz.

Today a visit was organized to Harichavank as well.
