VANADZOR, JUNE 22, ARMENPRESS: Armenian-French cultural center works in Stepanavan. It has been founded in the 1990s and implements cultural and charitable programs. The center which has 30 members is situated in the center of Stepanavan, is repaired, furnished and equipped with up-to-date engineering. Workshops are periodically organized here, as well as free classes of computer, French and German languages are conducted.

Director of the center Lusine Hovhannisyan told Armenpress that the Armenian-French cultural center has rich literature in French and German, and everybody can make use of it. In the kindergartens of Stepanavan and neighboring villages the members of the center organize readings of children’s literature. A French specialist conducts classes twice a year for all wishers. The members of the center and the volunteers are also engaged in charity and public work; a socially insecure family is under the patronage of the cultural center. It is already the second year that the center also organizes cleaning works of the neighborhood St Nshan Temple.
