Fifty employers to participate in labor fair in Gavar

YEREVAN, JUNE 16, ARMENPRESS: A labor fair will be organized in the town of Gavar of the Armenian province of Gegharkunik June 18 on the initiative of the “State Employment Service” agency of the Labor and Social Affairs Ministry. Head of the agency’s job consultation and information department Tsoghik Bezhanyan told Armenpress that about 50 employers will participate in the event who will present industry, agricultural, energy, road construction, trade, service and other spheres. Bezhanyan said that organizations representing healthcare sphere will also be by all means as there are many vacant places of doctors in the province.

“For the organization of the labor fairs we are choosing those provinces where there is demand of employees. Such events are good opportunity for both employer and job seeker. The experience shows that the organization of labor fairs is quite effective,” he said.

Last year the “State Employment Service” agency organized six labor fairs as a result of which 400 people found jobs.

This year the next labor fair will be conducted in July in the town of Vanadzor, Lori province.
