Haghartsin Kindergarten Repaired

IJEVAN, JUNE 4, ARMENPRESS: On June 3, the repaired kindergarten of Haghartsin community of Tavush province ceremonially opened its doors for children. The kindergarten had 40 alumni and two groups previously, the third group has opened today, and the number of the children has reached to 70.

An official from the governor office told Armenpress that in 2009 June-December the main building of the kindergarten was repaired through the help of “Support Action of Poor Children” organization, thanks to Diaspora-Armenian philanthropists. The total sum of money has made 25, 4 million Drams, 4, 4 million has been extended for furnishing of the kindergarten. The sub-buildings of the kindergarten have been repaired and furnished from the beginning of the year as well.

The building has been ensured with a heating system, the external and inner systems of water supply and sewerage have been changed. The USAID Armenia branch has provided 8, 1 million Drams for these works, as well as for construction of a playground in the court and for relevant equipments. Member of the NA Hakob Hakobyan donated 70 child beds to the kindergarten.
