IJEVAN, MAY 28, ARMENPRESS: May 27 in Noyemberyan town of Tavush province, a workshop-training was organized within the frameworks of “Prevention of Emergency Situations in the South Caucasus” program of “German Technical Cooperation” company for the teams formed in the communities of Ayri, Ptghavan, Haghartsin, Bagratashen and Archis. The workshop was undertaken by “Armenian Red Cross” company.
Within the frameworks of the mentioned program, teams have been designed in 11 communities of Tavush and Lori provinces, which this year have passed educational classes, as well as partook in a workshop on “Management of Disaster Risks”, during which an assessment of the disasters of the community has been implemented by the teams, the priorities and preventive measures have been discussed.
This class conducted in Noyemberyan was the supplementation of all that, which passed in the station of the voluntary fire brigade of the town. The instructors of the latter explained the representatives of the community teams how they must behave during disasters, before the aid of specialized groups.
Besides theoretical classes, practical trainings have been conducted as well, which are useful for community teams in displaying support in emergency situations on the place of disaster.
