“Child’s Planet” Puppet Show Comes Forward in RA Provinces

ARTASHAT, MAY 28, ARMENPRESS: ”Child’s Planet” puppet show LLC of Artashat will come forward from June 3 in Abovyan with the premiere of the performance staged on the basis of “The Liar” fairytale.

The puppet show this year has had tour performances in the regions of Sisian, Eghegnadzor, Ashtarak and Masis. Director of the theater, Art Director Kajik Avetisyan told Armenpress that this year they have staged over 70 performances. The puppet show is going to visit the provinces of the republic in near future as well. The invitations are many especially during the upcoming two weeks, connected with Children’s International Day.

“Child’s Planet” has been established May 2004, and already has 11 performances in its play list. The puppet show has over 50 dolls prepared by the own means, thanks to which the stories and fairytales are staged.

Since 2005 the theater has started participating in the republican festivals of the puppet art and has been awarded numerous certificates and souvenirs. This year, too, the puppet show intends to participate in the festival to be held in autumn.
