YEREVAN, MAY 26, ARMENPRESS: “State Employment Service” agency of the Armenian Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs intends to conduct the first labor fair of this year June 18 in the province of Gegharkunik.
Sona Harutyunyan, head of the agency, told Armenpress that a flexible policy has been adopted in organization of labor fairs. Studies of the labor market have been carried out in all the provinces of the republic.
For organizing a labor fair we chose the provinces where there is a demand for work. We want the labor fairs to be purposeful,” S. Harutyunyan said.
The studies of the labor market enable to assess the latter and the short-term trends of economy, to reveal the predicted working places, the requirements of employers in regard to the working force. The next labor fair will be conducted July 3 in Lori province.
On the whole, six labor markets are intended to conduct in the republic during the year. According to S. Harutyunyan, suchlike fairs organized previously have given a high result, an active participation has been noticed and many have found a job. Numerous positive responses have been registered by employers.
