GYUMRI, MAY 13, ARMENPRESS: Three projects have been implemented in Shirak province within the frameworks of the program of “Civil Dialogue and Practical Steps”. The goal of the program is to activate the civil activeness of young people. From the very beginning the program aimed at supporting the students of province higher educational establishments by developing and encouraging their projects. In Shirak province Gyumri Pedagogical Institute has the opportunity of implementing the program.
Hripsime Hovakimyan, representative of the program in Gyumri, told Armenpress that within the frameworks of the program the students have an opportunity to participate in different workshops, gain skills of writing grant projects, and to independently present projects and in case of approval to implement them by receiving a financial support.
All the three projects implemented in the province thanks to the program were very interesting and important. The first program intended work by students with the alumni of “Children’s House” in Gyumri, the second – teaching pupils the traffic rules for a pedestrian, and the third – teaching of directions and skills of participating in European programs”, H. Hovakimyan noted.
All the programs implemented within the frameworks of “Civil Dialogue and Practical Steps” are controlled and implemented by “Jinishyan Memory Fund”.
