A scientific conference entitled “Armenia and the World Culture” to be conducted May 6-7 in Gyumri

GYUMRI, MAY 5, ARMENPRESS: A scientific conference entitled “Armenia and the World Culture” will be conducted May 6-7 in Gyumri with participation of art figures from Georgia, Lithia, Latvia and Turkey. The scientific conference will be conducted within the frameworks of the Year of Bringing Cultures Closer proclaimed by the United Nations Organization.

Today at a meeting with journalists held in the hall of Gyumri Social Center, member of the organizational committee of the scientific conference, art figure Hasmik Harutyunyan noted that the presented themes will be multi-genre and interesting.

“The majority of the themes present branches of Armenian musicology, architecture, literature and theatrical art, which will bring to cultural mutual familiarization. Today the cultural dialogue does not know limits, hence all of us can take part in this dispute looking forward to a proper opportunity of listening and being listened,” H. Harutryunyan added.

On the initiative of the Gyumri branch of Yerevan State Conservatory after Komitas the scientific conference in Gyumri is conducted for the third time.
