78 programs implemented in Shirak within the frameworks of program on development of AUA Trpanjyan rural communities

GYUMRI, MAY 4, ARMENPRESS: Seventy-eight programs have been brought to life in Shirak province within the frameworks of the program on development of Trpanjyan rural communities of the American University of Armenia.

The program has been implemented in the province since April 2007. Before the confirmation of the program, the beneficiaries participate in business management classes, after the accomplishment of which they present business programs. And only the part of the programs are approved and funded.

The provided consultation support is a great help for initiating an own business, By the way, not only the novice businessmen, but also representatives of already running business express a wish of participation.

Frunzik Voskanyan, responsible authority of AUA Trpanjyan rural communities’ development program in Shirak province, said that this program is efficient and has a goal to contribute to stable economic development of rural communities, which in its turn will promote establishment of new working places.

Beginning from the start of the implementation of the program up today, 242 citizens have expressed wish of participation, 189 of which have received a right of participating in the classes, and the 78 of the submitted business programs have been confirmed. During the previous years, within the frameworks of the program business programs have been implemented in almost all the units of the province.
